SWING Mojo Series: 2007 New Basses
Mojo Series basses are available in 5 different versions. Roughly, the differences are as below.
MK-1 : Basswood Body, Hard Maple Neck, Bolt-on
Mojo Walnut : Walnut Body, Hard Maple+Walnut neck, Bolt-on
Mojo Ebony : Walnut body + Ebony top, Hard Maple+Walnut neck, Bolt-on
Mojo Ebony Thru : Walnut body + Ebony top, Hard Maple+Walnut neck, Thru-neck
Mojo Poplar : Mahogany body + Poplar top, Hard Maple+Walnut neck, Bolt-on
SWING Chief Engineer, Nimo studied a new line of basses focusing on the balanced mixture between contemporary and traditional features since last year. Then, over an year he successfully put his experience as a pro bassist and technical experience as an engineer together into the Mojo Series. Mojo Series began from here.
Basically, Mojo Basses are focused on the sound and function of active basses. But, with the toggle switch, Mojo basses are freely convertible between Active and Passive at any time. |

Ebony Top & Back
Mojo Ebony Thru features Ebony Top & Ebony back on the Walnut Body, and thru-neck construction. Overall design and sound are an ideal mix between a classical and contemporary design. |

Head & Neck
The necks are constructed from straight-pieces of Walnut and Hard Maple from the neck heel to the headstock. Comparing typical Scarf Joint, the construction with the straight-pieces exhausts 3 instruments worth of neck woods. But, this method enables the basses to have enhanced sustain and extra durability at the same time. |

Electronics
With the toggle switch in the "active" position, 4 knobs (Volume, Blender, Bass, Treble) function as an active bass. With the toggle switch in the "passive" position, Bass & Treble knob have no function while other 2 knobs function as usual. |
